Rubber—Making rubber corrections requires a great deal of patience while working in this tool, but it’s worth the time. Rubber can be used to remove unintentional elements and spaces. Create a new or existing shape, then use the Rectangular Marquee Tool to cut out a small block of the rubber. Then select the rubber to make it editable, and then make the new rubber area appear. Use the same process to rubber outside the shapes and holes you want to remove.

Pencil—This is the most basic tool for drawing a line that follows a path. Tap the Pencil Tool to activate this tool and you can then move the pen. Hold the Shift key to draw straight lines and connect joined shapes.

Lasso—The Lasso Tool is used to select an area of your art that you want to convert to a new shape. Tap and hold the Lasso Tool to create a freehand line. Click to define the shape of the line (or hold down the Shift key to draw a straight line without feeling).

Eraser—Use the Eraser Tool to erase random pieces of a drawing. You can erase content in art, shapes, and paths. Click the Eraser Tool to activate the tool. Click and hold on the art and the content will be removed. The color of the content will change to a black color to help remove the color.

Charcoal—With the Charcoal Tool, you can quickly make a smoky charcoal sketch. The charcoal tool has more options than the Pencil tool and adds many options to drawing and sketching.
