Lightroom is a high-quality application that is configured with every option you need. If you ever needed to, you can be easily turned into a video editor, leading to professional projects. Best of all, it’s free.

Adobe Photoshop is my favorite photo editing software on the planet. Though you would think that, as a reviewer, I might lean more toward the perspective of the competitor. You’d be wrong. Photoshop is very good at what it does. They got rid of a lot of the outdated, hard to locate options. Most importantly, the interface is very simple. It’s very easy to use for beginners. And finally, the program is so well organized it’s easy to find and open projects and files. Since it is so simple, it’s easy for new users to learn it. But a lot of Photoshop’s best qualities are not obvious at first. They are very easy and fun to learn.

The idea of running software as complex as Photoshop directly in the browser would have been hard to imagine just a few years ago. However, by using various new web technologies, Adobe has now brought a public beta of Photoshop to the web.

Over the last three years, Google has been working to empower web applications that want to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the browser. One such web application has been Photoshop. The idea of running software as complex as Photoshop directly in the browser would have been hard to imagine just a few years ago.
