But there’s still a lot to know before jumping off (or flying off) the deep end and investing in this app.

My office colleague, a developer himself, was so excited about Photoshop Sketch that he suggested that we do an in-depth review and share the results with the world (which we gladly did).

What It Does: Not every task in the Photoshop editing environment can be accomplished with just the Corel Painter tools. Painter comes with more features that Photoshop doesn’t have, such as the Live Paint Bucket that allows you to paint directly on an image. For most images and editing tasks you’ll probably want to mix the Painter tools along with the Paint Bucket and other Painter tools. However, most of the big picture concepts will stay the same.

What It Does: The Swatches palette provides quick access to the entire spectrum of Adobe’s color palette, which contains over 81 million perfectly-tuned color swatches to suit nearly every need. Starting with a selection of the best-selling colors, offering vivid, precise color, you’ll be able to achieve any result on any canvas by mixing and matching available colors.

What It Does: like all the other Adobe products, it is a workhorse for any field of photography. While there is no lack of alternatives, it is the de facto standard media and image management tool for the entire photography industry. Personally, I am a much steeper fan of the no fault out of box experience. Coupled with the way that Adobe is pretty great at doing whatever people with good creative ideas are trying to accomplish. If you can think it, Adobe can do it!

It’s very useful in planning images and it can be a measuring tool, but it is easy to accidentally move it, so you can use selct guides to help you.

Another feature Photoshop is using a new sheet based tab system comes from Sketch. It’s a great tool to create artboards and then create new artwork in what are called. Sketch documents. The update also gives you Dehaze, a new feature that automatically removes haze from your photos. There’s a new powerful Lens Correction feature called LensMatch, which is powered by Adobe Sensei to help you fix the edges of photos. The new feature enables you to search a database of over 55,000 styles that experts believe will help you bust your creative out of conformity. Machine Learning is now also integrated into how shapes are created. This will mean it’s easier, faster and more accurate for you to create powerful artworks.

The software company also capitalised on the popularity of its annual photo contest, giving users the chance to win $50,000 in prizes. The call for entries was hosted in more than 140 countries, and was a popular choice for those looking to share their creativity. Unfortunately, the deadline for entries passed before the big prize was given out, so those hoping for the top prize will have to wait. However, it was great to see so many people participate. The deadline for 2020 entries will be running from 26 March to 14 April 2020.

So if you missed out on the last call to enter for the contest, there’s still time to enter this year. To give it a go, simply head over to the Adobe Lightroom Community and upload your best shot.
